What does HolidayHost do as a ‘Host’ for my property?

We ensure your property is legally compliant, write professional level copywriting and have professional photographs taken*. We produce listings for you online and manage the bookings, associated guest contact and financial administration. We’re also a 24/7 point of contact for guests during their stay.

We also offer pricing guidance to ensure your property is priced just right.

Is this full property management?

No. We are a hosting agent who acts for you and completes all of the boring and sometimes stressful tasks associated with letting your property. We will introduce you to our preferred management partners if it is required.

I want to use my property during the summer, can I?

Absolutely. Your property is your property and we have no minimum number of weeks that we require for letting.


How can you give me the same service as other agents for such a low fee?

We partner with the online travel agents who invest outstanding sums on their marketing to show your property to the world. We focus on providing our owners with the highest level of service and maximum profit we can.


I’m with a letting agent already, can I switch to you and retain bookings?

We deal with this situation all the time as clients switch to our lower fees and better service. Please contact us to discuss your individual circumstances.

How many bookings can I get in a year?

The number is unlimited and depends on your agreed strategy for the property. Some owners only let during peak season and some all year round. On average our properties secure 30+ bookings per annum.


I’m worried about my property being damaged, how do you protect against this?

We always require guests to pay sizeable damage deposits. Our interest is in protecting your asset whilst maximising profit on each booking. 


Where are you based and who is my host?

We are based in Salcombe, South Devon and your host is a local professional host. You will have their direct number – no more call centres!


Where do I see my bookings and how do payments work?

Our bespoke portal allows you to see real time letting figures of your property and also book dates for your own visit. We pay your rental amount received net of fees to your nominated account monthly.
